While Christopher Nolan's latest epic, The Odyssey, sets box office records after an incredible opening-weekend haul, another film is quietly emerging as a minor blockbuster in its own right. Such has been this film's success that a sequel is already in development, which isn't something that even The Mandalorian & Grogu can brag about. The movie in question, a historical epic, was released over the Independence Day weekend and has not yet completed 20 days of release. It's primarily a domestic play, and should eventually gross thrice its reported budget, given the strong holds it delivered in its second and third weekends.
